Ferrari Race Day Silverstone
After an absence of 5 years Silverstone is hosting Ferrari Racing days this September, including a Guinness World Record attempt. The last time there were Ferrari Racing days at Silverstone was 2007, so Ferrari fans will be delighted to learn that Ferrari are back at Silverstone in September for all kinds of Maranello goodness. There’ll be the chance to see a host of on-track stuff including F1 Clienti, FXX, 599XX, Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli and the Ferrari Club Challenge – the only place in Europe you’ll be able to see all that in Europe this year.
The Scion FR-S—or Toyota GT86 as it's known in Europe—is the answer to many a gearhead's prayers. The streetable, trackable wondercar is reasonably cheap to buy and should be pretty economical to own over the long haul. Finally, the long, drawn-out saga of the Porsche Panamera’s gestation from concept, to spy shot, to tease, to reveal is over, with Porsche releasing the UK prices for the Panamera today, and the first UK Cars being delivered in September. Prices start at £72,266 for the Panamera S (which gets the 4.8 V8), £77,269 for the Panamera 4S (which also gets the V8 but with 4WD) and £95,298 for the range-topping Panamera Turbo. Still to come, although not until next year, is the Diesel, and the year after the Hybrid.
